Denice Aldrich Jobe is a freelance writer who lives and works in Northern Virginia. Her essays & features have appeared in Preemie, The Washington Post Magazine, The Washington Post, AAUW’s Outlook magazine, Educational Leadership & PBS Online. She also writes fiction & is currently at work on a novel.

Denice’s feature, "What to Expect on Bed Rest," was published in Preemie magazine’s premiere issue (Summer 2005). Her feature “It’s Okay to Ask for Help,” appeared in the Winter 2006 issue. Her essay, "A Life of Limits" was featured in Twice the Love available now on Amazon.com
